From 20th to 24th August 2018, University of Aveiro in Portugal hosted the participants of the 24th International Conference on Subterranean Biology. Slovenian speleobiologists contributed substantially to this years presentations, with numerous contributions from members of the SubBioLab. We were (co)authors of three plenary talks, five oral presentations and two poster presentations, covering diverse topics in subterranean biology (link to the programme here). Prof. dr. Peter Trontelj was a member of Scientific Committee. We are proud to announce that our PhD student Špela Borko received 2018 ISSB Travel Fellowship to attent the workshop. We also had the youngest active participant at the conference, with Master student Ester Premate who presented her research done in our lab.
